MEET SALLY

Sally studied fashion design at the London College of Fashion and specialised in illustration. Her love of retro textiles and textures is evident in her floral work with gorgeous colours that pop and a hint of embellishment and sparkle that catches the eye of the viewer.

Working from her garden studio, Sally finds inspiration from the beauty in nature, panoramic skies and far reaching landscapes. She has travelled extensively and has a special fondness for South East Asia. A trip to India resulted in more beautiful artefacts, fabrics, jewellery and decorative mementos to add to her collection from around the world.

She finds having beautiful and decorative things around her as she works releases her creativity and inspires paintings which shine like jewels.

Sally has exhibited as part of many joint exhibitions, including with Ikon Gallery, Royal Birmingham Society of Artists (RBSA), Birmingham Contemporary Art Gallery (BCAG), Midlands Art Centre (MAC), with ArtCan at the Bermondsey Art Project and has shown work at The Affordable Art Fair (AAF). She also held two solo exhibitions at Bannatyne Hotel and Spa,Hastings and The Curlew in 2022 and has recently been chosen for Leamington Spa Open exhibition
